Ok, this is slightly off-topic, but it's my blog so I guess that's ok... plus, I think it would appeal to most, if not all, of this blog's subscribers.Just found out about an essay contest Jasmin Singer and Mariann Sullivan are running on "Our Hen House" (which if you are not familiar with, it's very good and you ought to go give it a look-see anyway...). The point of the contest is to provide a platform to counter a recent NYT essay contest on why it's ethical to eat meat.
